The Selangor State Government believes that the economic growth in Selangor will be more meaningful with matching social development of the people. The thrust on community development is therefore an important agenda. Thus, Kumpulan Darul Ehsan Berhad (KDEB) has been entrusted with the role of being the investment arm of the State’s administration with community and environment as specific areas of focus towards corporate excellence.
Incorporated on August 3, 1985 as SB Development Sdn Bhd, KDEB assumed its present name on January 11,1995. It has an authorised capital of RM300 million and an issued and paid-up capital of RM262.4 million. KDEB has notched up tremendous achievements to become one of the largest corporations in the country.
Moving forward, KDEB is taking strategic steps in facing the challenges of change in the economic scenario. Streamlining, consolidating and merger have placed KDEB in a much better footing to face these challenges.
We are making our move, with a strong branding and more focused directions, KDEB aims to become a nationally and globally recognised GLC.
